I lol'd

This game was really fun, and funny. I love cats! I have 10 of them. Who knew killing virtual cats would be so fun? :D

Awesome game, man!

I had hours of fun playing levels and making my own. Even though this is once again another iteration of #1, there is still going to be a part 2, right? (If so I am looking very much forward to it :P)

Yep, we've been working on Drop Dead 2 for over a month now. But at the moment it's on hold, for the rest of this week. I just got an overdose of Drop Dead. :) If everything goes well, Drop Dead 2 is out at the end of January.

Very sloppy.

First off, the controls were awful. They were jerky, they rarely reacted correctly, and the gun didn't always fire when it was supposed to and the rotation would often lock up and then jerk to the complete opposite of where you wanted to aim. This made the game frustratingly bad and unbalanced, your shitty little turret kept malfunctioning while a single enemy could come in and rape you trying to get your gun in the right place and getting it to fire. Survival games like this are fun, but only when the actual interface works. Sadly, your controls and interface do not work and it makes the game frustrating, not fun, and everyone knows that fun is the overarching goal of any game.

A good platformer, only two problems..

The targetbox is way off and when you are standing on a moving platform, you shouldn't have to walk with it. This frustrated me because I jumped on a moving platform and fell off because I didn't move with it. The target box is also a little harsh, I was a foot away from the rotating flame tower and it killed me.

Otherwise, this is a surprisingly well done platformer. Just keep those aspects in mind when making #3 because it caused some frustration.

Very fun! Make a sequel!

That was very fun. The combat worked surprisingly well and the graphics were fairly good, that was some pretty well done sprite manipulation. My only real complaint is that it needs to be a tad longer, so I encourage you to make a sequel! This was a very fun and awesome game. :D

Kick ass

imac007, this is the shareware version of the game. Its a free download from pretty much anywhere, and you can run it on XP/Vista using an engine.

Anyways, reviewing the game: Its awesome. Very cool that you were able to get this into flash! The only reason I'm not giving it a 10 is because there are some glitches, and because the game isn't yours. However, I think you could go somewhere with this. What I think you should do is make a custom Doom wad and port it to flash to make a Flash exclusive Doom game. That would be even more awesome. Work out some of the sound kinks, put in music, and create an exclusive map list, and you'll have one of the most impressive flash game feats yet. It must've taken a lot of programming knowledge to port this to Flash without it screwing up.

Bad game

This overall was just a bad game. It's programming is very poor, there were numerous glitches and the animations are stiff and lifeless. There was really no goal, and I know you said that it was meant to be a quick timewaster, but there still should've been a bit more too it than what was there as there was no challenge or anything of the like. You have talent, I've seen some of your other work, but this game isn't very good at all.

Everything sucks.

Very Nice.

I loved it! It is by far my favourite in the series so far. I thought the story and concept was neat, some of the logic has plenty of holes but it was still a neat idea and whatnot. The surgeries were up to the quality of past games. The music was amazing, and for the most part the graphics were too. About the only thing I dislike about them is some of the blood seemed way too thick and cartooney.

Otherwise, GJ.

Very well done

Great job! Good atmosphere and interesting use of the premise. Great graphics too. Oh, and the thing that ctwnoutlaw mentioned is actually 'Exmortis,' and its an old point and click horror game like this here on NG. If you play it you'll see why he made the comparison.

Psionic3D responds:

OK, I will have a search around and play it if I get time...I VERY rarely play games, too busy making em lol ;-)

A fun platformer!

I had fun with this game.

It was a fun, 8-bit style platformer. The only two problems I had with it were the music, which was a tad annoying, and some of the gameplay had issues. For example, when standing on a moving platform the platform should move the player with it. Instead, you had to walk to stay on the platform. I also found it a tad frustrating at times to land on a platform only to find that the first inch or two on the platform will drop me through an invisible barrier. However, when it works, it works and its an old school platformer and retains the simple, but challenging fun of those games.

Not bad, not bad!

You ever get the feeling like something is in your brain gnawing away at your sanity? Yeah, that's me.
