Good start

Good start. Stop motion is something that requires a lot of talent, and for a new comer you show that you have talent. I'll admit, the movie itself was "Meh," although the beginning was fun when he was knitting himself back together, from then on though it kinda lacked any real structure.

For a starter at stop motion, its good you avoided "Gapping," something that plagues beginner stop motion animators. Gapping is when your transitions from frame to frame aren't exactly smooth, due to poor planning or a missing frame. You didn't really have any gapping problems, save for a somewhat discoloured transition from the stop motion bits to the real time bits with your hand.

Another thing I should praise is the quality of the video, stopmotion videos are large (Hell, your flash is nearly 9 megs and its fairly short) and so they often have to be down scaled and fitted with LOTS of pixels, which s the only reason I haven't posted my own stop motion vids, I'm a snob about pixels. This was crystal clear, and although its probably going to be hard to avoid pixels in longer or more ambitious future projects, getting good quality the first go round is good. Didn't like the watermark though, but I'm gunna assume that you were using a trial and I can understand if you can't afford whatever program it was.

You should work a little more on the "Writing," perse as well as the editing cuts (Title screents, etc.) because save for the beginning bit, it wasn't that good substance wise, but it still isn't a bad start. Keep practicing and you'll get where you want to, you've already got a good start in the stop motion animation department. Just watch out for Carpal Tunnel, sometimes extra detail just isn't worth it... One of my stop motion videos took a good 14 months and I was going for detail, and detailing the minitures gave me a good case of Carpal... owch.

i actually had to cut it down quiet a bit, maybe 2mb or so, to get it on to this site. i will defintly work on the script/plot on my next project.
wow 14 months is quiet a bit!
Thank u 4 the input. =]

What an important message.

Yes, this message is oh so true. Snow should also stop happening in January. Fuck you Snow, fuck you. *shakes fist*

I love you guys though xP Keep on bringing us awesomeness from Krapton BiZZaRo Tom :P

poprock responds:

Thanks, mate. I'll send the alien down to kill some of them Mormons for ya.

Awesome

I think we have the first "must see" of the year. I've always loved your style, your artwork is distinct and surrealistic, your soundscapes are creative and bizarre, and you know how to tell a story that is completely silent from spoken words which always requires talent.

A lot of people are going to try and interpret this because it does have a small tone of allegory, plus there are people like me who love to gnaw on films until they find something meaningful underneath it all. I didn't read too much into this one, was having too much fun drinking in the artwork and setting.

You are very talented and so far this is your best work. You should be proud of yourself mate.

Fav'd <3

Damn..

I think the Kraptonian version is better. It was worthy of an Oscar! The only problem was that you didn't hire Doug Jones to play Godzilla. Seriously, ALWAYS hire Doug Jones to play your monster. Did they have BiZZaRo oscars on Krapton?

poprock responds:

They call movie awards Felixes on Krapton. Is not Doug Jones too skinny to play Godzilla?

Thanks for the pure LSD 25

Yay! More hallucinatory nightmares. I love you guys. Your animations are always twisted yet show great talent and definitely get under the skin. I will admit, I didn't like this one as much as the first (Maybe because the first was much creepier, IMO) but it was still awesomely fucked beyond all belief. :D

Damn, did Krapton really implode?

Did Krapton really implode? Damn, that's an anti-climax. My father was a Kraptonian and I was getting ready to head up there to assassinate him. Brutally. It's not that I'm ashamed about the fact I'm a half Krapton half Human abomination so much as I just really don't like the bloody git. Was the death at least painful?

Oh yeah, and welcome. Just avoid the politicians and the hobos, and you should be just fine. For some reason politicians and hobos don't like people with purplish hues.

poprock responds:

BiZZaRo read your page post. Your life more fucked up than anything BTF see on Krapton. Get out of Utah. NOW.

EDD EGG RAWKS!

Ahh man.. best episode of Edd Egg yet! This made a rather depressing day awesome. My chest hurts xD I stopped by the forums again briefly, jeez has it grown since I last visited it.. but that's because the holy deity of Edd Egg has been spread far and wide now! Seriously, I await every new Edd Egg episode with bated breath. They get better and better, and this is the best yet. :D

Also, I still friggen' love Straight Guy's voice. I was born a Brummie and my years here in America hasn't changed me! Brummie's are FOREVER.

Fav'd. Rock on, Bowley.

Not bad!

I liked it, especially the FBF animation. Very fun video. At first, I didn't really care for the song, but it grew on me. The song still won't make my favourites list, but it is pretty good. You have great flash talent :)

Poor Louis

Y'know, I'm normally offended by jokes like this. I know I shouldn't laugh, I know it shouldn't be funny, but it it is, as well as utterly horrifying. Some of the expressions were pretty lulzy. I feel bad for Louis though, if my calculations are correct, Bill is so awesome that he'd be gigantic. Yes, I really like Bill. Crotchety old men FTW

Yayyyyy!!!

I've been waiting for a new Fear Hole ep forever. The wait has payed off :D This was a great episode. Your animation continues to improve, and as always you've got some great looking monsters. I still think that the recording quality can improve (Although the actual acting quality is great) but that doesn't really take away my enjoyment of it. Fav'd just like the rest!

You ever get the feeling like something is in your brain gnawing away at your sanity? Yeah, that's me.
