Mad skills, as expected.

Dammit Chris, where do you get such mad talents? Who were your parents, cause you clearly came from perfect sperm. Your animation and artwork is still some of the best here on newgrounds, and of course your humour and sense of style is impeccable.

I rarely give out 10s anymore unless the flash is genuinely nigh perfect, but dammit you deserve that 10! Continue all your sexy, mind bogglingly amazing flashes.

Sexual-Lobster responds:

thanks croutons!
i don't think i can really comment on the quality of my father's sperm but i wasn't very good at art when i was young so i think practice wins over talent

Great :)

That was a fun cartoon. You get bonus points for excellent production values as well; the voice overs were superb but that's to be expected from good sir Tomar (That kind of has a ring to it...) and the animation was great. Quite fluid and it reminded me of an old school tune.

The joke was pretty good too, perfect timing with the ending as well. The only thing I would have added is "Now he's miming a hit and run with that cop! That cop played along really nice!" ... was that too dark?

Anyways, I really enjoyed your 'toon mate. Also, the song in the credits was great.

MyKindOfFlash responds:

I did wonder how far to push the joke, I think you're little gag there could of been good!

And thanks for the first comment on the credit song. The queen of singing, Ella Fitzgerald. I like using old jazz music in my cartoons, I think more people today need to know about the greats.

Glad you enjoyed!

Ehhh

I didn't really care for it. Not very funny or well done at all. I think the only things I really liked were Squidward's face (That was kind of funny) and that song was pretty cool. I wouldn't mind knowing who did it.

Faggot3000 responds:

I wouldn't mind too.

You sly bastard

So you admitted it - all your sexeh sexeh flashing is a sexeh scheme for world dominatrixation. I don't care if that isn't a word.

Anyways, yeah this was awesome as always. My wife & I can go to bed laughing and affected by your damn sexeh rays.

<3 you as always.

Sexual-Lobster responds:

thanks!

That kicked ass.

Wow. That was hilarious. Thanks for introducing me to the genius of Peter Chimaera! xD I do have to admit, I wish this fanfic was a little longer because now I want more crazy bad Doom fanfic. There are so many bad fanfics but so few about Doom... save for the infamous "Imp Encounter." I don't know whether or not I should ask someone to animate that, cause it'd be funny... but terrifying too.

You also get credit for introducing me to some awesome Doom music remixes. Overall, that was pretty damned cool. Good job overall. =3

We learn something everyday! I'm glad you enjoyed it! Thanks for the review :D

Some laughs

Yeah, that was pretty funny. I think that if I had one complaint - it was that some scenes were just drawn on far too long. Regardless, I still laughed a bit. I think the voice acting was the best part; if the voice acting hadn't been so bloody supoib, I probably would've given it a 7 & 3. You get an 8 & 4 instead because the voices just added one big extra layer of funny for me.

FatKidWitAJetPak responds:

Thanks for the compliments on the voices. I decided to drag it on because I wanted the animation to be in "real time" as in, thats what would happen.

Hah

That was funny. The last line was just brilliant. I think what made it was the voices, especially how they say "Fumb" instead of "Thumb." Also, the mean man with a stolen Lollipop looks like the Nostalgia Critic. Any relation?

Merol responds:

I don't know, it sounds like "thumb" to me.
I did notice it looks like the Nostalgia critic, but it wasn't intentional.

Reminds me of me.

I'm a Rant obsessed bastard and I think my heart and brain both stop if I don't rant at least once within a 42 hour period, though my doctor recommends I make at least 2 rants in that timespan. I also like to hear other people rant because opinions are a wonderful thing and words are oh so delicious. I like words.

Anyways, I'm going to rant back at you a little. The concept that you are toying with is often referred to as "Harm Reduction," though usually it is referring towards drugs rather than prostitution. The basic concept that if we legalize drugs to some degree. Give people a sanitary place to dispose of needles and get clean ones without having to share, offer more publicized forms of help for curing addiction, and you could cut out all middle men; reducing the risk of people being shot over drugs, people getting drugs that are laced with other drugs, etc. etc.

It's interesting to hear that concept applied to something like prostitution and you make a good point. I will admit that I *understand* why prostitution is illegal in an unconscious manner and I do not morally approve of prostitution, but there are plenty of legal things I don't morally approve of that I simply don't have to have a part in.

I think you make a good point overall; the biggest rebuttal that I have is a small worry of whether or not more people would end up prostituting themselves since it would be an easy way to get cash. Then again it IS the worlds oldest profession, and maybe a bordello might keep the prospect in line provided the owner wasn't cruel to their working girls.

Thanks for letting me digest a few words, Eh.

subhumannonperson responds:

There's a tendency for an industry to slow down by a lot once its legalized, that's one of the pro's when it comes to prostitution, and since a lot of people are still not "morally" attached to prostitution, I doubt there'll be an alarming number. I'm guessing in the first few months or years there will be, but it all balances out. Once prostitution is legalized, I can sense that as time passes it will be like any other job, it'll be more difficult to get into, which will make those who want to be prostitutes for money try to find other job options. But I'm speculating. Thanks for the response.

Fan flipping tastic

This was awesome! Well worth the wait. The animation is terrific and it seems you've improved a fair amount from the first episode, which looked great, but this one felt smoother. The only kink in the animation that I really noticed was that in a couple scenes the backgrounds felt flat, especially in comparison with some of the others you've used; but this wasn't a common problem.

Obviously it's the humour where this shines. Episode 1 and 1.5 were both very funny (1.5 struck a chord with me seeing as I lived in Utah for a looong time) but this was more than funny; this was downright hilarious. I have a thing for dark humour and it is nice to see dark humour executed so well and with a fantasy theme as well.

Dark humour seems to be hard for people to succeed in because some people make it too soft and others make it a bit *too* sadistic. It can also be said it usually seems to have a suitably darker genre (I.E. Horror or suspense thriller) that it latches on to or satirizes than a swords and sorcery fantasy adventure, so you get points for having a unique combo as well. You did it right and it's been a long time since I've laughed this hard, and my evening is certainly a lot nicer now.

So all in all this was great. It looked great, sounded great, and was funny as hell. I can tell that you put a lot of effort into this and practically none of the effort was wasted. My wife enjoyed it too. I'm adding this to my favourites and I look forward to Episode 3.

Jazza responds:

Thanks so much! Ep 1.5 was really easy for me to do, I know all the cliches since I AM a Mormon and like laughing at myself lol.

As for the dark humor, is it disturbing that it comes so naturally? Lol. Gore just does not gross me out and the most strange violent things I find funny. In animated form, not in video or anything, thats a different level of sick.

Anyhow thanks so much for the awesome review!!!

Cute.

This wasn't great but it had a certain charm to it. I think it's probably just the fact that I'm a Nostalgic twit and I have lots of memories of things happening at my school that were strange or funny and this kind of took me back to the school days and thought of some of my own "Funny school things".

The biggest problem for me was the sound design. The voice acting was very stiff and forced and it made some of the deliveries poor, and when people weren't talking it seemed practically silent with little music or sound effects. It also seemed that there were large gaps of air in-between sentences which did affect the timing and pacing, making thins feel a bit protracted.

The animation isn't spectacular but it's serviceable. I won't really knock it too much, it does its job and it is better than a bunch of stick figures. It could have used some extra detail I suppose.

Yet it did make me laugh at times. It wasn't always all that funny, but when it was it was quite funny and it once again had a charm and appeal to my brain that made me imagine how much funnier they would've been in real life and kinda comparing to them to moments I had like that. I like the idea behind this series and if you were to ever ask other people to contribute, I'd probably do it.

I do want to see more from this series. I also watched the first one, but other than the bit with the teacher accidentally giving the middle finger I didn't find it as appealing and it wasn't as fun as this one. If you improve on the voice acting/delivery and timing, I'll be happy. The visuals need improvement but they have a simple enough art style that is serviceable for the comedy genre, but the other elements would help make this a bit funnier.

Overall it's an enjoyable 'toon but definitely very hit and miss. Hope to see you improve in the future. :)

Aqlex responds:

Well, I'm very glad it brought you back to thinking about some of your own funny school things xD. Voiceacting was done by almost all of my friends, many of them who had never voiceacted before, so I think voiceacting is something that will hopefully improve a bit over time. Same for my art and animation skills! As long as I keep animating, I think I'll improve that too. Timing is something I need to work on for sure; I always have slow timing xP. And although I don't currently have more planned for this "series", I definitely have plenty of material to use. I have a few other animations planned first, but I'm going to keep this series in mind! xD Thanks for the review! Much more informative and helpful than some of those other reviews.

You ever get the feeling like something is in your brain gnawing away at your sanity? Yeah, that's me.
